Falguni and Shane Peacock, the married designer-duo have been on the rise since they launched their label in 2008 and recently have become a major hit among Hollywood celebs and music icons. Katy Perry, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Cindy Crawford are only a few leading names who are drawn to the label’s eclectic design aesthetic, bold cuts and glamourous embellishments. The up and coming designers even had the honor to create costumes for dancers in Madonna’s Super Bowl half time show this year.

Embellished to the TENS
With a strong design philosophy to stand out and be different, Falguni and Shane say “life is too short to blend in”. The Peacock label, which is based out of Mumbai, India, is best known for its signature use of feathers and sequins, throughout their elaborate, edgy and feminine designs.

The current Spring/Summer 2012 collection consists of sexy figure-hugging dresses and jumpsuits, and slinky gowns with lots of sparkle and sequins for the ultimate power woman vibe. With their 2nd showing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion week in New York under their belt, the duo have some big plans for global expansion; first being, to conquer New York. For Fall 2012, we’ll see a more dark, edgy glamour from the designers, with just enough rock-couture edge to make a statement.
